I am unfortunately having to re-write this blog entry since it seems my draft got lost when I didn’t have any network coverage 😖. As you can tell this one is also a bit late since I have been remote for a while.
I left Linda and Blue behind in Colorado while I caught my plane out of Denver to Calgary, Canada. I hope they miss me as much as I will them! 😢. I took precautions to put Apple AirTags in both my bike box and the other luggage. I did watch from inside the airplane that they loaded the bike box👍.

The flight was uneventful, and I was staring out the window looking down at the approximate area my route went through. Looked pretty flat from 30,000 feet in the air 😆. All my luggage arrived with no problems. The bike box was intact other than TSA security badged tape where mine used to be, so they did do an inspection. I caught the shuttle to Canmore, where I was planning to stay the first night. Decided on the hotel where the shuttle stopped, so I would not have to drag the bike box and luggage all over town.
I got some dinner and did some grocery shopping for the first few days since I would not be going through any towns. I don’t think I did a very good job since that grocery bag weighed a ton! The bike is already too heavy as it is, so I’ll need to make some adjustments.

Dinner 😋

First look at the Canadian Rockies from Canmore
It took we quite a while to put the bike back together and luggage installed on it. I finally stopped at midnight and went to bed, needing to catch some rest before I start in the morning 🥱.
